Friday, August 10th, 2007Okay so version 3.0.4 is uploaded. Fixes a bug that could render certain sites incorrectly and could cause some major problems with search engines (specifically, google)
Other fix: POST request titles now change correctly, instead of not changing at all.
It should be on AMO soon.

What's with the new thing in my status bar?
Thursday, August 9th, 2007Since version 3.0.3, there has been an icon in the status bar with the ThunderBrowse logo on it.

Clicking on that logo would cause it to have a red circle with a cross through it. Like in the image below:

You might be wondering, what does this icon do? What it does is disable the link capturing functions of ThunderBrowse, meaning that any link, form or input field will open in an external browser.
While the status bar addition does have the same icon as the hide url bar, it’s function is very different. Some users requested something that would do this, and now it’s added.
You can also right click on the icon and a quick menu will appear.
Simple Search-For Extension integration with ThunderBrowse
Wednesday, August 8th, 2007Another extension for Thunderbird which compliments ThunderBrowse is the Simple Search-For Extension. This extension allows you to select some text and then be able to search for it in the search engine of your choosing.
I have yet to try it out yet, but it seems pretty cool.
The AMO Link is here (it’s in the sandbox):
