New sections added
Thursday, October 11th, 2007I added a few new categories to the ThunderBlog. You might notice that Announce Versions, Releases and Upload Notices have been added.
Here is a quick breakdown on what each means:
Announce Versions: Posts in this category will tend to reveal new features, changelog updates and stuff like that.
Releases: Posts in here tend to notify you that a version is now available for download. It succeeds the updates category in notifying you of an update.
Upload Notices: Posts here will state when a version has been uploaded to AMO
Changelog for Version 3.1.6
Thursday, October 11th, 2007So here is the changelog for the next version which is supposed to release sometime soon.
==10/01/2007 Version 3.1.6==
Cleaned up some tab code, removing around 2KB worth
Removed unneeded prefs and old height code
Added menu way of hiding the urlbar, so a button isn’t always needed.
Fixed the display of tooltip for the collapser button (it would show collapse even if it shouldn’t)
Fixed up Visit in Browser menu item, it should now work correctly again=10/04/2007=
Go button now responds to middleclick (causing middle clicked go button to load in new tabs)
Added Tab menu=10/08/2007=
Improved homepage switching so old homepage is saved. Check tbit:faq for how to recover the homepage=10/10/2007=
Fixed tab menu bugs with display errors on some profiles
One note about this version though, close other tabs has an odd streak of closing the tab the action was activated for. This bug is one of the things holding back this release (so is the fact that not all the languages are translated yet).
