3.2 Released on AMO
Wednesday, November 28th, 2007Version 3.2
Monday, November 26th, 2007Finally leaving the 3.1 series, version 3.2 barely has anything in it at all. Not much is in this build. New icons were delayed to a future version (probably 3.2.1 or 3.2.2).
Two features are in this build. The first is about:kitchensink (yes, we have a kitchensink) and the second is favicons now have fixed sizes. Hooray. Yeah, it’s nothing to go super crazy about, but it’s all good.
As I have nothing else to add to this build, it might release tonight.
3.1.9 Released
Sunday, November 25th, 2007Version 3.1.9 is now public on AMO
3.1.9 Revision 3
Sunday, November 25th, 2007Revision 3 has already been merged with the final build. And it has been uploaded already. Basically, Revision 3 fixes most of bugs relating to history, creating bookmarks and shortcuts.
To put it in detail this is what it covers:
- Locked History capturing: there should be a fix (it was not tested throughly but no bugs seem to have sprouted due to the fix) that will not make the back and forward buttons suddenly lock down and stop functioning
- Failing bookmarks titles: Creating bookmarks from the current page would bust if the title of the website had a | in it’s title, this has been fixed. Bookmarks that had a | in the title were also impossible to delete through the manager
- No new Shortcuts: Shortcuts were not saved due to a malformed check that slipped past testing
- Prebookmarks: 2 bookmarks are included by default, Mozilla.com and Google.com. Aside from being helpful, they are included in case someone’s build of ThunderBird chokes on a blank array (which is possible, but not likely).
3.1.9 Uploaded to AMO
Saturday, November 24th, 2007Version 3.1.9 barely contains any huge new features, but it does have a bunch of bug fixes for the “Welcome to ThunderBrowse! Where do you want to go today?™© ®“. For first time users, this will now be displayed in a popup. Few other features have been fixed regarding said popup.
The faq went under a few changes and contains a few new entries and easier navigation throughout.
In other news, I really liked the Transformers movie (something I totally want). Hint hint.
In other other news, I have been testing which icon I will use for the next version (Version 3.2 [which will have a kitchensink]). Icon 2 will probably be used.
