I think ThunderBrowse is a great add on and I am enjoying using it but I do have one little issue. When I choose the option to leave TB and open a web site in my browser I always get a pop up Confirm window that tells me I am leaving TB and forces me to once again approve the move that I just requested. It has been totally unnecessary each and every time it has popped up. Is there some way of disabling the pop up and speeding up the process?
Thanks.
Great work!
This is covered in the FAQ. See: http://www.thunderbrowse.com/thunderblog/faq/#pro…
images are displayed only in pages loaded in the main tab of thunderbrowse (using tb3b1pre). is there any tweak to enable them globally?
No. There's plans for an option for ThunderBrowse not to check for image permissions, but it is not availible. In the mean time, change mailnews.message_display.disable_remote_image to false or go back to 3.2.1.9.
Or, you can wait for the beta to release after development starts to wind down (which development hasn't started on the new version yet).
I'm an avid TB user and with Thunderbrowse, 90% of what I use the computer for is now under one "roof." So thank you for this extension. There are many limitations of course, but for causal surfing it's fine. One gets tired of jumping around between different apps and their unique UIs.
A couple of requests 1–a Bookmark toolbar button, or better yet a Bookmark toolbar. 2–Tabbed windows don't take focus with my use of Enlarge Text/Reduce Text buttons.
TB+Lighning+Thunderbrowse=Killer App
A bookmarks toolbar was planned a long time ago, but I scrapped it because it just added more crap to the screen.
As for text sizes, try TBZoom (http://www.thunderbrowse.com/thunderblog/2007/12/…). It should fix problems with text sizes not updating for tabs.
