ThunderBrowse 3.2.6.4 released
Tuesday, August 25th, 2009Additions to 3.2.6.4
Thursday, August 20th, 2009I just pulled version 3.2.6.4 from AMO in order to add a few more bug fixes to the version.
This is what has been changed:
- You can use the enter button on textareas again
- Enter button now includes the submit button in the POST and GET requests (because it didn’t before).
- onSubmit now has a fail code added to it so that it will submit the form anyways even if the onSubmit code fails.
- The pref for onSubmit has now been removed because of the above point.
- Various other fixes.
Announcing ThunderBrowse 3.2.6.4
Wednesday, August 19th, 2009Hello again!
Many users have informed me of bugs in the new click engine, which is totally awesome because I very rarely get feedback about most new features and about ThunderBrowse in general.
So here’s ThunderBrowse 3.2.6.4, a new version that fixes a lot (if not all) of the bugs introduced in 3.2.6.2. Granted, these are all the bugs that I know of that have been reported by users.
Here’s what has changed:
- onSubmit is now an opt-in feature (because it’s beta and doesn’t work extremely well). If you want to use onSubmit, go to about:config and change extensions.tbrowse.onsubmiton to true. I suggest you create a custom button if you are going to be using this feature a lot.
- Wizard tab options have been fixed.
- Fixed conflicts with extensions that use gestures.
- Fixed settings not saving in the Settings window.
- Made external-default reset to true on uninstall.
Very few other things have been changed.
Summer of Funding is still going well but it looks like Thunderbird 3 tabs is the only thing going into 3.2.7, which isn’t a bad thing.
3.2.6.3 released
Wednesday, August 12th, 20093.2.6.3 is now available on AMO. This update features no new changes other than updated locales.
Enjoy!
ThunderBrowse 3.2.6.3
Wednesday, August 12th, 2009Facepalm moment!
I had totally forgotten that I didn’t update some of the language files in 3.2.6.2 so some of the other languages will see error messages in the GUI. I thought I didn’t have any new strings, but it turns out I did (one I added a long time ago).
Sorry about the confusion and thanks to all the recent donors to the project (it really means a lot to me)!
Update on the Summer of Funding:
Currently we are half way to the first milestone, Thunderbird 3 Tabs. Can’t wait!
