We are back (again)

So I’ve switched hosts to WebFaction to try out their service. So far it’s a lot better than my old host (I’m going to keep WebFaction around for awhile and if I like it, I’ll cancel my old host’s service [and get a refund]).

I don’t get anything unlimited (so no overselling) but I get the peace of mind that they won’t shut down anything because it’s too popular (unlike my other host). Plus the service is really fast for me. Did you see how fast tabs switch on the homepage? I remember when it used to take forever just for the request to go through.

Most of the site should be running just fine but let me know if you encounter any hiccups via the comments for this post.

I have been unable to copy or paste in or out of Thunderbird since it was upgraded yesterday??????
Also, it has been very difficult to send large pictures since the upgrade. I am a photographer. I have to use Gmail to send pictures.

I can not log in into my comcast mail account. I have deleted the account and added it again and nothing. What is happening?

    • MASA says:

ThunderBrowse doesn't hook into your mail account. It sounds like you cannot connect to comcast's servers (comcast blocks port 25).

I cannot get this browser to work. How can I get back to my old one?

I am asked for my password every time I try to do something like forward or reply to an email. There is no place in the account settings to include the password.

    • MASA says:

This is a Thunderbird issue, not ThunderBrowse. When the box prompts for a password make sure you check the box "Remember my password" and it shouldn't ask for it again unless the password is wrong.

We can't get our mail now in Thunderbird – this started last night. Not sure you will even get this. We can get our mail on our iPhones though, and everything else i working (business e-mail, browsers).
