3.2.3 might be my favorite version so far (if it releases without any major problems). It fixes numerous bugs that I’ve wanted to tackle a long time ago but never had the time. It’s got support for the latest nightlies of Thunderbird and it has a new settings window. There has been so much that went into this build, it really improves how you use ThunderBrowse.
It even has a new software box (that looks 10,000 times better than the current one).
I feel like this is a huge advancement in ThunderBrowse.
I’ve cleaned up a lot of the code, removed a bunch of junk that was too much of a derivative of ThunderBrowse’s goal: to be a simple and fast browser for Thunderbird.
To tell you the truth, I’m excited for this build and for the future of ThunderBrowse in general.
I really hope you enjoy this new build.
That’s right kids, the next version of ThunderBrowse releases tomorrow (or atleast, is going to be uploaded for review).
Really, stay tuned.
Well, my deadline was today for localization; all but two locales have made it into the final build, Czech and Polish. Maybe their translators will update them tomorrow? I don’t know. I’m targeting the release for sometime in the next four days.
I’ve gone over a lot of the code and I’ve found a few things that I would want to improve but would rather give it more development time later. For the most part the code is pretty bug free (unless I missed something drastic [I don’t think I have]).
The last thing before I can release is updating all the screenshots and help documents. Yay.
Stay tuned, because it’s coming soon.
The translators have been working hard on translations, most locales are already done and we are currently waiting on the last three. This is gonna be a fun release.
I’ll try to have the help page for the settings done in time (what fun) as well as a huge update to the main site (new images, yay).
It’s going to be released soon! Stay tuned.
